Two days after taking this beautiful device into service, the socket USB mini was not stable enough to ensure a good connection
The weak point of the blue Yeti is its USB-mini 5B socket
I had to disassemble the device completely to be able to repair the socket with a pliers
For a stable connection I decided to fix the cable with clamps and glue on the frame – see picture 5
For several months I haven’t had a single disconnection, I can say that the problem is solved
Left: front side with on the top the windscreen foam
Right: back side
Does the microphone work? When the red LED of the mute button is permanently lit, you are “ON AIR”
After pressing the mute button, the red LED starts flashing, so you are muted
To remind me of my settings, I placed two green triangle stickers
Cable is fixed with two clamps and glued with bi-component glue ARALDITE on the frame for better stability
The glue needs 12 hours to dry
It works only on usb 3, I put a label to avoid errors
